Village apartments in Bavarian Forest mountains

9 beautifully modernised traditional village apartments in 3 neighbouring houses, with 1-3 bedrooms, for families, couples and groups of friends. We are resident British owners providing lots of additional features and services: table tennis, table football, pool table, sauna/gym/massage & facials, mountain bikes, library, DVDs & CDs, guest coffee lounge with home made cakes, small �shop� with food and drink, guest barbecues and schnaps evenings (entirely optional!). Each apartment has a huge file of specially written tourist information in English. The houses are on the edge of the village of Bayerisch Eisenstein, right next to the National Park and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, trains and buses. The village has tennis courts, mini golf and a railway museum � as well as the only station in Europe divided between 2 countries. There are lovely, varied walks � everything from a gentle stroll to a strenuous hike and the Arber mountain, with cable car running 10 months of the year. In winter there is every snow activity from alpine skiing to snow shoe walking. The Czech border is 10 minutes walk and excursions can be made to Prague, Plzen and Cesky Krumlow as well as Munich, Passau and Regensburg in Germany.
