Do we really need Sat Nav to find our local Corner Shop?

Given the demise of the corner shop it would take more than a Sat Nav to find one. I would rather spend my money in the corner shop if I can find one rather than splash out on buying a Sat Nav

We probably are becoming too reliant on technology but I use my sat nav all the time. I find it takes away all the stress of driving anywhere you haven't been before!

I was always quite a stressed driver when trying to drive and navigate at the same time and now with sat nav you can just switch off and still get there...

Although I don't think the technology really offers the shortest route sometimes...

I'm OK with SatNAv in principle, but I live in a village on a 'quick route' between two motorways. Lorry after lorry cutting across, unable to navigate the sharp village corners, going 30 in 50 mph.,
