Rosalind Kent - Retail and Consumer Expert

Rosalind_Image.jpgI am a freelance writer who has been published in newspapers, magazines and online media. I have a unique background in freelance writing and law. Having graduated with an LLB law degree (Cardiff University) I worked as a paralegal and case officer in both private practice and within a variety of governmental departments. I became interested in consumer protection and advice and worked for a number of years as a case officer for the Office of Fair Trading and as an Enforcement Officer and Consumer Adviser forTrading Standards.

I am currently pursuing a career in freelance writing and also training to be a Citizens Advice Bureau adviser. This gives me direct access to all the most up-to-date legislation, and highlights the issues that are most important to the public. Because of my consumer advice background my articles primarily address legal and consumer issues, although I have also had current affairs articles published, and I regularly write for the Kent & Sussex Courier as a local correspondent. In addition to this I provide copywriting services to businesses, and proofreading and editing services to a London-based literary magazine, and an online current affairs media website.
