How To Reduce Your Stress - 10 Ways To Easily Minimize Your Stress

1. Pilates, Yoga or some sort of exercise is a fabulous way to deal with a lot of stress in the body. Meditate, take a Pilates or Yoga class, go for a walk or go to the gym 3-4x per week. Any form of exercise will really help with the reduction of your stress and make you look and feel better as well.

2. Take some time out for yourself every day. It is very important to take at least 15 minutes to one hour of time for yourself every day. Sometimes, we can take care of others so often that we forget to take care of ourselves. It is just as important to take care of yourself on an emotional level and physical level. Take a nice bath at the end of the day or put on a homemade facial mask and listen to some music. Pamper yourself. You deserve it.

3. Make an action plan and become organized. In order to make your day flow smoothly it truly is necessary to make an action plan of what will be accomplished. Without one, you won't get as much completed and that can become even more stressful because this work just gets pushed to the next day.
Also, make sure that everything is organized. Items that must be organized include your wardrobe, car, shoes, kitchen, computer room and bedroom. If your living space is cluttered than it is twice as difficult to become motivated and it can become quite distracting to look at things that are out of place. It makes finding items you require also more difficult and stressful because you simply cannot find them.

4. Every morning, noon and evening do some deep breathing exercises. It has been proven that deep breathing techniques lower stress because it literally forces the body to relax. A couple of minutes of deep breathing 3x a day is easy to incorporate and will help you to relax and focus more on the task at hand.

5. Journaling is a great way to let go of unwanted feelings that we harbour. Sometimes when we are upset, writing down what bothers us helps to release the tension that we are feeling. It can be an effective way of dealing with a lot of pent up anger. It is very important to release or let go of whatever it is that is bothering us or making us angry. You might also find that by journaling on a daily basis that you enjoy writing and begin writing a book that you have always dreamed of writing and publishing.

6. Budget your money wisely. It is important to budget your money wisely because financial difficulties are the most stressful problems that a person can have especially when you have children to support. Keep spending within your means and don't overextend yourself with your credit cards so that you are in this constant state of debt. This can be a very emotionally extremely stressful for many people. If this is the case, than I recommend finding someone that can help with people who have spending or saving problems.

7. Develop a hobby such as painting, drawing, learning another language. This will help to get your mind off of daily matters again and have you concentrate on something that brings pleasure to you. You might even make a friend or group of friends by joining a hobby group. The possibilities here are endless and very rewarding.

8. Reading is a great way to relax and reduce your stress. Pick up a book that you have wanted to read but, have always put off due to lack of time. It will allow you to get absorbed into the book and away from all of the daily problems in life that we encounter.

9. Call your friends and family. On a regular basis, call your friends and family members and spend some quality time with them. It is important to keep in contact with people because reaching out to others and spending time with them makes us feel wanted and cared for. Laughing with your friends will really help to reduce the stress in your life.

10. Deal with past issues. One of the most important things in life is being able to deal with past issues. Everyone has these little issues that come up every so often and bother us. It might be that someone said something to us or that we did not like the way our friend treated us. Whatever the case, make sure that you deal with your past so that this no longer bothers you. Some ways to deal with emotional past issues include: the Silva Method, hypnosis, Emotional Freedom Technique, or a therapist.

There are many other ways to deal with past issues as well. Explore your opportunities and take action to resolve any areas in your life that are troublesome because this will definitely help to release your stress. As a result, you will find that you won't be thinking about what happened in the past as often and you will be more focused on your present and future.

All of the tips help to reduce stress substantially in our lives especially when you start to combine them. Although, many events, situations, or people can be stressful it is important to realize that events happen in our lives on a daily basis and they are only as stressful as we make them and internalize them. Make sure that your response is in proportion to what is happening in your life in order to reduce the stress in your life to the best of your ability which will lead you to live a happier, healthier and longer life.
