Do you think the Government's simple health mesage of eating five fruits and vegetables a day and excercising regularly will be enough to shed those extra festive pounds?
Do you think the Government's simple health mesage of eating five fruits and vegetables a day and excercising regularly will be enough to shed those extra festive pounds? If so we are looking for a male and female aged between 45/60 to take part in a case-study for this campaign. So if you have put on a little weight and would be willing to try some of the behaviour swaps being recommended by the Department of Health as part of the launch, then drop us a line (or reply to tis forum). Nothing too hard, these are simple ideas such as swapping taking a car to work for walking one day a week, swapping sugary snacks for healthier options and swapping large plates for smaller portion sizes. |
Hi . Like all of us I ever so slightly over indulged over the festive season (not helped by the fact that I also went abroad to Mexico on holiday!)Drinking & eating -_Tacos & Tequilas. On returning to the cold British winter on 3rd January I decided that I needed to shed a few pounds. I am a Prime50Plus member and find their Primetips extremely valuable. I wanted something effective but simple so decided to follow their lead in trying out the Governments simple health message. And guess what? It really works! Over the last 4 weeks I have managed to lose 3 pounds already and can now get back into my swimsuit once again! But still a few pounds to go yet. |
